The Master of Asian Affairs at the Institute of Political Sciences of Lyon was among the first of its kind to be offered in France. Established in 2000, this one-year full-time formation is designed to prepare students to the difficulties of the Japanese and Chinese markets on every level, from language to management skills.

The Master of Asian Affairs is for now primarily oriented towards knowledge and understanding of North-East Asia in general, Japan and China in particular (however, South-East Asia is becoming an important part of the curriculum).  As both markets open and expand, international firms will need skilled managers able to work and thrive abroad. Our partnerships with many Asia-oriented business and international organisations give our programme an unique teaching approach.
