Syllabus

4th year: General studies

Students admitted to the programme must have attended the 4th year international affairs classes and specialty classes:

- 4th year core curriculum and International affairs classes (341h)
- "Economic and geopolitical issues in the Asian world" lecture (24h)
- Two "Introductory lectures": "An Introduction to Asian business law" and "Marketing 101" (48h)
- A yearly language class (Chinese or Japanese)

5th year: Professional development

Pour la 5ème année, le volume horaire des enseignements au premier semestre est de l’ordre de 250 heures. Le premier semestre est consacré aux enseignements professionnalisants, tandis que le second s’articule autour d’un stage linguistique et professionnel.

In 5th year, the number of hours . The first semester focuses on vocational courses, while the second semester includes a language training course and an internship in Asia.

Both China and Japan majors must attend core curriculum lectures. However, the project assignement, the language classes and the internships will depend on the major selected.

The first semester curriculum is as follows:

"Business and commerce in Asia" module
- Business structure and industrial organization
- Negociation techniques
- Commercial practices and partnership lookup

"Judicial and financial practices in Asia" module
- Corporate environment and judicial practices
- Financial systems and practices

"Management in Asia" module
- Management practices in Asia
- Intercultural management

"Project assignement" module  
- Etude de cas sur le marché chinois ou japonais pour une entreprise

"Language skills " module  
- Business English
– Chinese or Japanese classes in France, then language training courses in China (Chengdu University) or in Japan (Senshu University).

"Internship" Module
- 3 or 4-month internship in China, Japan or any other country in Asia, following which the student will present an internship report before a jury.
